Nexpro 20 tablet treats acid reflux disease and stomach and intestinal ulcers. It also helps eradicate a bacteria called H. Pylori to reduce the risk of intestinal ulcers. Additionally, it is used to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is characterised by excessive stomach acid production due to tumours in the pancreas. Nexpro 40 tablet contains esomeprazole as the active ingredient. It acts by lowering the acid production in the stomach. Watch for foods and beverages that appear to cause acidity-related problems. Try to eat smaller and more frequent meals, eat less oily and spicy foods, avoid alcohol, and drink plenty of water.

Nexpro 20 tablets should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine. It should be taken on an empty stomach. It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results. You should not consume it more than recommended by the doctor.
